My Favorite story is as follows , The Ranson Hardware where holding Grain Buyer money for an Elevator in its safe ,During the night someone broke in and broke into the safe stealing all the money, around 50,000$ , During the investigation someone said two men where seen on foot heading west along the railway track ,Others claimed it was an inside job. Wilber Ransom owned the Hardware and Minch Hay ran the Federal Grain elevator ,Two nice men. this event happened sometime in the 40s

My fondest memories of Foxwarren are every summer spending it with my Aunt Marion and Uncle Wilfred. Having ice cream at Joe Plumbs, pictured above. Going for walks in the pastures and finding that special spot with Kathy Hamilton and reading Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys.

I have lots of memories of Foxwarren and lots more when my parents moved there.

A Saturday night in Foxwarren, Mom and Dad took us to town, dropped us off and we went to the "picture show", yes, we had a movie theatre in town...admission, chips and a drink for 25 cents, small chips, small drink, then after the show, met up with Mom and Dad and went to the cafe, was before the Joe Plumb days, it was called Munroe's Cafe then.
